Chris Mueller, president, and Liz Thach reporting live from the Conference – Friday July 24th.  We started with the Cupcake 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon and I’ll let Liz fill in the details from her detailed tasting notes on all – I’ll get the basics down for starters.

  1. 2006 Cupcake Cab Sauvignon – $14
  2. Snows Lake 2005 Red Hills – 72% cabernet sauvignon, 28% cab franc..    This Snow’s Lake Two sells for $45, was aged 21 months 100% French oak, 42% new barrels and shows …
  3. Line 39 2007 Petite Sirah – Another Lake County entry, a mouth-filling $10 wine that’s a full-bodied wine with complex fruits, tamed Cab tannins (a small percentage of cabernet sauvignon is blended in) and approachable now.  At 40,000 cases, you’ll be sure to find some in a retailer near you.
